GOALS

One of the goals of My Little Sunshine Home Day Care is to provide a safe and happy place for the children where they can learn and grown physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially at their own pace.

Children will benefit from both structured and flexible schedules.

Your child will have the opportunity to participate in different activities which will stimulate sensorial motor, language development, and social interaction. Children will benefit from both structured and flexible schedules

The development of strong self-esteem is a major goal. Children will be taught to respect each other, adults and property through positive guidance, reinforcement and redirection.

The children will be exposed to the theory of Montessori in order to ensure each child gets what they need.

CURRICULUM

Offer individually appropriate activities that are specifically designed to help the child grow on his or her strengths and weaknesses; addressing all areas of development according to Maryland Early Learning Content Standards.
